Grossular “Honey” Garnet — Hebei Province, China (2012 Find)
This is a well-formed grossular garnet cluster from a known 2012 find in Hebei, China, exhibiting the rich honey-gold coloration that made this material desirable when it briefly hit the market. The crystals show solid translucency with good luster across multiple faces, giving the piece strong visual depth under light.
Clusters from this find are increasingly difficult to source in this condition, as most material was either heavily damaged, dull, or broken down shortly after extraction. This example retains a compact, balanced crystal grouping with appealing color saturation and surface sheen, making it a strong representative specimen for the locality.
